Welcoming Spring at LAMI Convention Wedding
Hello, I’m Mi-young On, founder and wedding director of LAMI Convention Wedding.
Winter brought many worries. It was my first winter running LAMI Convention Wedding. Every season was a new experience, of course, but winter seemed to weigh on my mind a little more than the others.
One evening, I went for a walk after finishing the day’s work and saw magnolias in full bloom. I had been wondering when spring would arrive, but suddenly I could feel it drawing closer with each passing day.
I had been so absorbed in the work of the venue that I had barely looked up. When I finally did, the flowers were already blooming. The sight filled me with gratitude.

Planting Flowers to Welcome Spring at LAMI
Inspired by the season, I decided to plant some beautiful flowers at LAMI and visited a local flower nursery.
Flowers make the rhythm of the seasons feel so clear. At the nursery, the flowers that are most beautiful at that particular moment are always waiting for their time to shine.
The flowers were more expensive than I had expected. I wanted to bring home armfuls of them, but instead I carefully selected the ones that felt most at home at LAMI.

A Little Sore After Planting—But Worth It
I wanted to buy more tulips, but because they bloom only through the end of May, I settled for two plants. When June arrives, I plan to return for the flowers that are at their best then.
I thought I had bought only a few, but once I began planting them, there seemed to be quite a lot. My back certainly felt it by the end.

May Every Guest Who Visits LAMI Leave a Little Happier
Once the flowers were moved into the planters that had stood empty all winter, everything began to look quite lovely.
I recently bought marguerite daisies and a newly developed geranium variety. Flowers need care every morning and evening, so my days have become even busier—but looking at them always lifts my spirits.
The roses I grew at home last year have also survived the winter and begun to bloom again. Once they are a little fuller, I plan to bring them to the terrace.
I hope the flowers bring a little happiness to everyone who visits LAMI Convention Wedding.

May Everyone Reading This Bloom
They say that one of the things flowers need most is a gentle breeze. Sunlight and water are essential to every plant, but flowers also need air to move around them.
Despite the familiar expression “a flower raised in a greenhouse,” even a greenhouse needs constantly circulating air and a little challenge in its environment. That is what helps a flower bloom.
Perhaps flowers do not bloom only in perfectly comfortable conditions after all.
With that thought in mind, I hope everyone reading this can be like a flower. May this spring give you the strength to rise above whatever comes your way.
That is spring at LAMI Convention Wedding.
